India’s Baseless Allegations on Pakistan to Derail Peace Process

Published January 22, 2014 by Farrah Naz

Creating wedge between the Government of Pakistan and Pakistan Army and harming the image of Pakistan and its armed forces by means of stating concocted statements is always what India preferred and still doing it since independence. India called itself a democratic country but in reality, India has a fake democracy that by the help of fictitious stories, damage Pakistan’s image to build differences among the Government of Pakistan and Pakistan Army. Pakistan always offers India for having peaceful relations. But opposite to that, Indian violations are on the peak for derailing the peace process. Indian menacing designs and blame game continues instead of welcoming the peace relations offer by Pakistan. The basic reason is to slander the image of Pakistan Army and Government of Pakistan.

Another thing which India likes the most is that blame game and putting false allegations on Pakistan and its armed forces. Government of Pakistan and Pakistan Army are keeping focus on improving ties with India and also to improve diplomatic norms with the neighbouring country but Indian media with the help of its leaders have a habit to put groundless accusations which has no reality just to decline the efforts made by Pakistan of improving the ties with India. India, basically, does want peace in the region. Human Rights Violations including extra judicial killings, rapes etc are at peak in India but Indian leaders do not pay any kind of attention to it. As far as Kashmir issue is concerned, UN did not any pay kind of attention of it too.

In the end, I would like to say that India, instead of blaming, must change its attitude and must respect Pakistan’s peace offer.

Indian Government and Extremist Politicians

Published December 2, 2013 by Farrah Naz

Extremist organizations and extremist politicians of India have always been there to blame Pakistan for every blast in their country. It’s like they are sitting over there and waiting for any happening in India, so that they can blame Pakistan for that. It’s simply rubbish that this happens all the time. Shiv Sena and other extremist organizations never missed any chance to blame Pakistan. They are against Muslims. Muslims in India are not safe. Killing of innocent Muslims in Kashmir is the biggest example.

On the other hand, Indian Government also starts bashing Pakistan after the allegations of these extremist politicians. It seems that they are helpless and work under the pressure of extremist organizations just to gain the political mileage and to get the public attention. This is simply absurd conduct by the Indian Government. They should have their own stance and they should properly investigate the matter. Pakistan offered investigation of the LoC incident many times but India always remained silent on this offer. Why? The simple answer is that they know that India is behind it.

Now let’s talk about the Indian Media. Indian Media also supports every drama which is against Pakistan. Same happened violation of LoC is at its peak. Their media just created a huge drama and fake stories to show the world that Pakistan is behind all the violations. It is Pakistan which is violating the LoC. They did the same in past. Famous incident of Mumbai attack is the major example. They blamed Pakistan for that but now after the revelation of intelligence officer of Indian Home Ministry, it is very clear that India was behind the attacks and the reason was to harm the image of Pakistan. It has been the work of India to start speculative anti – Pakistan campaign for defaming the Pakistan’s image.

After all the revelations, the Indian media campaign is totally become bogus and Pakistan should also realize that India cannot be the friend of Pakistan because it always finds different ways to harm Pakistan rather than doing any kind of friendship.

Social Media Landscape in Pakistan

1234

According to a survey, out of the 42.4 % of Asian internet users, Pakistan makes for a majority of this proportion. Social Networking sites are flocked by a good number of Pakistanis on a daily basis and it is perhaps a lesser known fact but after the inception of Orkut, the third largest number of users right after Brazil and India were from Pakistan.

Although, the daily religious upheavals that have implications on a global scale and the government reforms within the country, threaten to mutate the social media picture in Pakistan, their presence seems only to be further cementing in the social media world.

Since the 1990s, the internet usage in Pakistan has almost doubled and it is refreshing to see a good ratio of the population of both young and old alike flocking to the internet to consume information and stay connected. With 1 out of every 10 Pakistanis being abreast with the current global and national situation through the Internet, why then would the government want to veto the availability of social media?

Last year, there were talks of Facebook to be banned in Pakistan and this was almost impossible considering the number of Pakistani users Facebook boats of. In 2012 alone, the number of Facebook Pakistani users went up from 1.8 million to 3.6 and it has been surveyed that the users fall generally within the age bracket of 18 to 24.

What people generally do is equate the scenario in Pakistan with that of the developed countries. For a country that has just begun to wake up and accept the power of internet, it is perhaps not fair to compare the social media marketing strategy with companies that spend billions of dollars on media marketing.

For a country like Pakistan that is always portrayed as per the convenience of the powerful countries and in connection with its ties to the political and socio-religious turbulence in the world, social media gives the civilians in the country an arena to counterattack the half lies fed to the world by the western media. There has also been an emergence of a good number of intellectual Pakistani bloggers like Faisal Qureshi, Imran Khan, etc. who have been able to show a different face of Pakistan that the world in general usually knows of.

The social media scenario is very much akin to the rest of the world’s and although the transition from being a predominantly internet-ignorant country to one that has reluctantly turned to the internet for both communication and marketing, Pakistan is fast becoming an internet savvy country in general and a social media addict in particular.

Today, every social networking site, be it Facebook, Twitter of Tumblr has quite a significant number of users from this part of the world and a good strength of the Pakistan based companies have jumped on the social media bandwagon to promote and market their products. However, it is still in its infancy as a company still would make use of YouTube marketing but maybe not on a large scale.

This might just be the beginning but it has been predicted by the social media head honchos that Pakistan would soon race the other countries in terms of both advantageous social media usage and media marketing.
